You may want to order one size larger than your toddler's shoe size, as these boots do not have much wiggle room. They are difficult to slide on without a zipper or drawstring to allow for some give. The construction of the boot seems warm and strong.

My 4 yo usually wears a size 11 1/2 wide width shoe. I bought a size 12 Sorel boot and it fits very nicely. We tried it out in the snow and it kept her feet warm and dry. We didn't have any problems sliding these on her feet. They're well-made and solid -- cute, too, I might add.

Buying snow boots for children or for boys, girls or even for little kids? Good thing about snow boots is they don't differ much and have almost the common features as women's snow boots and men's snow boots. But you need to make a difference between winter boots and snow boots as they are worn in wet conditions too, unlike the former.

Winter boots specifically cater to long time snow wearing in little wet or muddy condition and rarely offer features commonly found in snow boots. Consider the following points when buying snow boots.
